What was in the box ?

During the Heritage Lottery Fund sponsored project to professionally archive our nigh-on century of history we came across a small box, within which was a roll of old film.

We sent the reel to the Yorkshire Film Archive who restored the fil and made a digital copy of it …
The film was then lightly edited by Gemma Thorpe to add context to it.

The film is 86 years old, and our charity is over 98 years old. Throughout all this time we have been working tirelessly to protect the landscapes of South Yorkshire and the Peak District.
