This year, join us in celebrating and protecting the natural beauty of the countryside
For 100 years, we’ve been at the forefront of ensuring that the countryside enriches our lives, rejuvenates our spirits, and remains a cherished space for all. Whether it’s a leisurely walk, a vigorous hike to bag some ‘Ethels’, climbing new heights, or simply sitting and soaking in the tranquillity, the countryside is a vital space for our physical health and mental wellbeing.
However, the landscapes we love need our protection and support. By caring for the countryside, we can safeguard the Peak District and South Yorkshire countryside so that the green spaces we love continue to enrich our lives and the lives of future generations.

Working together we can create a beautiful, thriving countryside that we can all be proud of.
With your support we can;
- Make sure that everyone can still access the countryside and green spaces.
- Help the countryside and its communities thrive.
- Support communities so that people can improve and protect their local environment.
- Lessen the impact of climate emergency on our landscapes and wildlife.
To achieve these goals requires support from people like you. We can all play our part in caring for and celebrating the countryside of the Peak District and South Yorkshire.
