As a trustee you will help promote, enhance and protect the Peak District and South Yorkshire countryside for everyone’s benefit.

We are CPRE Peak District and South Yorkshire, the countryside charity. We believe the countryside is for everyone, wherever they live. We want a thriving, beautiful countryside for everyone to enjoy.

We work to:

• Connect people and countryside; so that more people can enjoy the benefits of the countryside
• Promote rural life; so that the countryside and its communities thrive
• Empower communities; so that people can help improve and protect their local environment
• Grow our capacity; so that our work can continue now and in the future for generations to come

Underpinning this, is our commitment to tackle the climate emergency. It sits at the heart of everything we do.

We aim to promote the beauty, tranquility and diversity of the countryside in the Peak District and South Yorkshire. We’ve worked for almost a century to support and promote the countryside, and we’ll be doing this for generations to come.

To continue our work in the future we need more support now from people who are passionate about the Peak District and South Yorkshire countryside. This includes trustees who generously volunteer their time to help shape our work.

As a trustee you will share our vision to create a thriving, beautiful countryside for everyone to enjoy. You will help promote, enhance and protect the countryside for everyone’s benefit.
