Concerns Over Green Belt Land Release for Housing Development
As a charity dedicated to protecting the Green Belt since the 1930’s, we remain committed to advocating for its preservation.
We understand that many residents are concerned about Sheffield City Council’s decision to release Green Belt land for housing development.
At a meeting on Wednesday 30th April 2025, the City Council’s Strategy and Resource Committee voted in favour of proposals to release 3.6% of the Green Belt for housing and employment development.
